As the very first employee of Mystery United, I’ve had literally thousands of football shirts in my hands over the years. From collector’s items from Eastern Europe to hidden gems from South America, I’ve seen it all. My name is Jip Lanjouw, and as a true shirt enthusiast, I’m in the perfect position to pick out the most beautiful shirts of the 2025-26 season.

10. SSC Napoli – Home Shirt 2025-26
If I had to describe this shirt in one word, it would be fresh. With players like Noa Lang, Kevin De Bruyne, and Scott McTominay, Napoli not only has a strong squad but also a truly stunning home shirt.
The classic sky-blue design stands out instantly, complemented by a crisp white V-neck and sleeve cuffs with a double stripe finish. The word “Napoli” printed on the back of the collar gives it that authentic touch.
9. Levante UD – Home Shirt 2025-26
As someone who loves shirts without sponsors and with collars, I couldn’t be happier with Levante’s new home shirt, the perfect combination. This year’s design pays tribute to the iconic Estadio Vallejo, celebrating its 100th anniversary.
The traditional blaugrana colors remain, but this time with wide vertical stripes and subtle diagonal lines that add depth and motion. A blend of tradition, history, and class. This one fully deserves its spot in my top 10.
8. Boca Juniors – Home Shirt 2025-26
Boca Juniors never disappoint, and their new 2025-26 home shirt proves it again. To celebrate the club’s 120th anniversary, it takes inspiration from the iconic kit of the 1995-96 season.
Normally, I’m not a big fan of yellow in football shirts, but the way it combines with Boca’s dark blue is just perfect. The anniversary badge, the wide yellow band, and the attention to detail make this a beautiful tribute to the club’s rich history. A true classic in my top 10.
7. West Ham United – Third shirt 2025-26
The new third shirt from West Ham United instantly grabs attention. What I love most is the oversized crest with the crossed hammers, something fans haven’t seen since the 1980s.
The Oxford Navy Blue color nods to the club’s roots as Thames Ironworks. A bold and stylish design. West Ham can be proud of this one.
6. Como – Home Shirt 2025-26
What a work of art! This shirt was designed by artist Didit Hediprasetyo and continues the club’s tribute to Lake Como. The deep blue color, highlighted with white and silver accents, gives it an elegant and luxurious look.
After finishing a remarkable tenth as a newly promoted team last season, Como radiates confidence in this design. The club motto, “Semm Cumasch” (“We are Como”), appears inside the collar, emphasizing their strong local identity. With Adidas as kit supplier and such a beautiful design, Como is ready for another exciting Serie A season.
5. Arsenal – Third shirt 2025-26
For me, Arsenal’s new third shirt is an absolute hit. The clean white base with burgundy and gold details gives it a modern yet classic feel, especially with that small collar. What really stands out is the retro Adidas logo on the chest, perfectly matching the nostalgic vibe of the shirt.
The design pays homage to the club’s beloved Highbury Stadium, with subtle details referencing its history. The Gunners will definitely look sharp in this one, and maybe even challenge for the title.
4. AC Milan – Home Shirt 2025-26
Once again, AC Milan delivers a masterpiece. To be honest, Milan could make this list every single year because they never fail to produce stunning shirts.
This season’s home shirt is a tribute to the iconic words of founder Herbert Kilpin: “We will be a team of devils.” The classic red and black stripes are enhanced with a flame-inspired pattern that perfectly matches the fiery identity of the Rossoneri. After finishing eighth last season, Milan will look to rise again in style.
3. Werder Bremen – Third shirt 2025-26
The first German club on the list, and what a shirt! Werder Bremen celebrates the 60th anniversary of their first league title with a breathtaking third kit.
The gradient from dark green to light green with a subtle shimmer looks fantastic. The gold detailing on the collar, crests, and sponsor logo adds a touch of class. The number “60” inside the collar and the slogan “LEBENSLANG GRÜN-WEISS” (“Green and white for life”) on the back give it extra meaning. A shirt with real story and emotion, easily top-3 material this year.
2. Olympique Lyon – Away shirt 2025-26
The first away shirt on the list comes from Olympique Lyon, and honestly, it’s almost the best of them all. The red and blue vertical stripes perfectly match the club crest, giving it that instantly recognizable Lyon look.
Adidas went for a design that subtly references the Groupama Stadium, turning this into more than just another away shirt. The phrase “Proud of our colors” printed across the upper back strengthens the connection between club and fans. A brilliant shirt, and a well-deserved second place.
1. Sorrento – Away shirt 2025-26
This shirt belongs in a museum rather than a club shop. It’s pure art. Inspired by the Mediterranean charm of the Sorrento peninsula, the design resembles hand-painted stone tables decorated with lemons, sunlight, and other local motifs.
Every detail exudes elegance and creativity. For me, this is without a doubt the number one shirt of the 2025-26 season. A design this unique is something you rarely see in football.
And that’s it: my personal Top 10 of the most beautiful shirts of the 2025-26 season. Once again, it’s a year full of surprises and gems, from Como’s deep blue design to the iconic third kit of the Gunners.
