Our Story
How did Mystery United begin?
As a young boy, our founder Stan Hoff developed his love for football shirts at a market in Como, Italy. There he fell in love with the shirts of clubs like Inter, Napoli and Fiorentina.
“During the COVID period (late 2020), I started the Mystery United concept in the Netherlands and Belgium, born from my passion for football shirts. From the house of my retired father Kees, we sent out the first boxes to happy customers who received unique football shirts. The idea quickly caught on, and what began as a hobby soon became a full-time job. Today, Mystery United operates in no less than 29 countries!” – Stan Hoff
Over the past few years, we’ve had fantastic collaborations with clubs and creators such as PSV, FC Twente, FC Volendam, F91 Dudelange, Transfermarkt, Enzo Knol, darts player Kim Huybrechts, FC Afkicken, VersuZ, Koen Weijland and many more.
Our success hasn’t gone unnoticed either, we were nominated for Retail Rookie of the Year 2024–2025!

Over the years, the Mystery United team has grown to 13 football-obsessed colleagues. Together, we work every day to build a brand that continues to inspire more and more fans.
Football plays an important role in everyone’s life at Mystery United – it’s no surprise that it’s the most talked-about topic at the coffee machine. Some play at a competitive level, others in Sunday leagues, or simply enjoy the game from the stands, but we all share one thing: a deep love for football.
Our Stadium
In 2024, we moved into our own headquarters in Vriezenveen (Overijssel, Netherlands). After a major renovation, the building now truly reflects the Mystery United identity, and we couldn’t be prouder.
With nearly 1,000 square meters of space, Mystery United is ready for the future – and equipped to process orders quickly and efficiently.
